Participants will explore the meaning behind the lyrics to the Simon and Garfunkel song "Sounds of Silence" and then create a card representing what they found to be compelling about it.

• 5x8 mat board, cardstock, or piece of cardboard

• magazine images

• glue stick

• scissors

• journal or paper with a pen
